Media City UK is providing the Northwest media, marketing and digital community with its first chance to take a look inside the £1.5billion Salford Quays development.The open door event featuring stand-up comic John Bishop and DJ client Boon is to be held at the Media City Studios, Pie Factory from 6pm to 10pm on Friday 20th June.
While 2011 and the arrival of the BBC at Media City UK seems a long way off, and building work continues at a furious pace on the new cityscape, one part of the site is already active – the Pie Factory Studios, where the open evening event will be held.
The space is already in use by leading producers and actors and has notched up a number of high profile TV, film and commercial production credits in recent months.
