Description

For the second year running the 4Talent Awards will be shining a spotlight on 20 highly creative individuals under the age of 30, who are tipped for the top across a broad range of genres including a special award for talent in the multiplatform world.

Part of 4Talent’s purpose is to act as talent spotters - not only for the people who will be providing Channel 4 and all its platforms with original, challenging, intelligent and entertaining content in the future, but also for the wider industry as a whole.

Through the 4Talent Awards, Channel 4 hopes to find young creatives with the potential to make a difference, as judged both by senior commissioners and the independent producers who supply them.

Judges for the multi-platform award include Channel 4’s Commissioning Editor for Education, Matt Locke whose new cross-platform commissions for 2008 rely on providing content on social networks, games and widgets, and Director of digital marketing agency Holler, James Kirkham, who led Channel 4’s Skins campaign.

James Estill, Senior Producer, 4Talent says: “The 4Talent Awards showcase emerging young creatives to the very people who could be commissioning them in the future. But they also quite simply give credit to the amazing talent that exists out there, across the whole of the UK.”

Please note: the 29th of August at 5pm is the closing date for entries. No final date has been set for the awards, as yet. To register visit here.
