Description

This specialised event provides essential knowledge for web design professionals, their clients and any creative business with a website. If you have a website this event is for you!

For web designers: Do you copyright protect your web pages, images and downloadable content when designing for a client?  Do you want an essential guide to protection issues from minimal warnings which will help you protect content to registration for viewing sensitive content and creativity?

For clients and creative businesses: Do you worry about putting your creative imagery on the internet? Are you truly aware about the global audience a website gains, particularly when optimised for search on the internet? Do you want to make a rational choice about how much protection you need whilst marketing your products and services to suit your individual business, but deter copying?

This event is for both start-up businesses and those with some copyright knowledge already. It will give you a range of questions you can ask at the event or work out for yourself afterwards. It may challenge experienced web designers and creatives and give you knowledge to challenge your existing portfolio from copyright warnings to ownership issues.

Website ownership is also discussed at this event. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at this event and network. Nibbles will also be served.
