HighEdWeb is a conference for all higher education Web professionals — from programmers to marketers to designers to all team members in-between -- who want to explore the unique Web issues facing colleges and universities.

Presenters and attendees for past HighEdWeb conferences come from public and privat universities of all sizes, are housed in a great variety of departments, and hold diverse titles such as Web developer, marketing coordinator, programmer/analyst, graphic designer, director of Web communications, information services librarian and beyond.

Presentations address a broad range of the latest issues of interest for higher ed Web professionals. 2008’s conference tracks included:

  • Applications and Standards
  • Marketing, Management, and Professional Development
  • Social Applications and Content
  • Technical Propeller Hats Required
  • Usability, Accessibility and Design
  • Corporate Partner Presenters
  • Poster Session

Tracks are adjusted each year to meet the always-changing needs of the profession. As well, the conference also offers exciting keynotes and guest speakers, and extended pre- and post-conference workshops.

Attendance grows each year — more than 400 higher ed Web professionals attended HighEdWeb in 2008. If you work in higher education and work with the Web, this conference is for you.
