It is with great pleasure that we can announce the first Doncaster WCR event. The event is a collaboration between Alba Associates, Invest in Doncaster, The View, Digitotal Media and Thecollab, where they are looking to form a series of activities designed to build an identifiable Doncaster based Digital, Creative and ICT business cluster.
Wired City Reconnected has been developing a positive reputation for delivering collaborative networking events across North West, Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire, and this event will open the opportunities to South Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. We are hoping that the Doncaster WCR event will create opportunities for delegates to “do business” without having to listen to sales pitches.
We are looking to work with partners to attract 40 -50 business owners and freelancers from the Digital, Creative and ICT businesses from across Doncaster, North Lincolnshire, Sheffield, Barnsley & Rotherham as well as North Nottinghamshire/ Derbyshire.
Delegates at previous WCR events have informed us that they enjoy the event because they are busy and lively events....with lots of new opportunities...but in a relaxed and friendly environment... ...where business exchanges take place ........so why not come along and see for yourself......
Wired City Reconnected events are ‘purely’ facilitated events, aimed at providing each business with a bespoke programme of introductions matched against their individual needs. There are no speakers, “talking shop” sessions or public utilities salespeople.....the whole evening is dedicated to exploring possible business collaborations between delegates. There is a facilitated introduction service, so no spend the evening kissing ugly frogs to find someone meaningful.. you can go straight into meetings with fellow business owners who are looking to collaborate and “do business”.
There is free cold beers / soft drinks as well as buffet......and parking nearby.
