Description

A one-day workshop for covering the basic elements of production  management.  Content:  • Production Roles  • Managing a team   • How to make a schedule  • The independent production budget  • Programme cost reports and delivery paperwork  Attendees:  Junior personnel who need to know some basic operations of the production  office.  Production staff who are beginning to take on a production  management role. It is not intended as a ‘brush up’ session for already  experienced production managers.  Format:  This introductory course uses authentic production scenarios to analyse  programme budgeting and scheduling. There are group exercises for each  stage.  The tutor: Lyndsay Duthie is an experienced Executive Producer with a host of credits  under her belt. Lyndsay was Series Editor of ITV’s flagship talk show Trisha  and went on to Series Produce and originate many of her own network  programmes ranging from ITV’s Family Feuds, BBC2’s Food and Drink, ITV’s I  Want That House and Channel 4’s Best Friends. Lyndsay is now the Managing  Director of the TV Indie and training company Ice Blue Media Limited – as well  as heading up Programme Development for etv Media Group.  What the delegates say:  “Great course.
