      Set Variable: "currentx" = GetProperty ("/targetmovie",_x)

      Set Property ("/targetmovie", X Position) = "the new x position"

End On


If you just want the movie to move to the new x position with no effect 

(gravity, deceleration etc) then I believe the set variable is not needed.  

But once you add an effect the variable tag plus the scripting for the effect 

will be needed.
