we-el, i don't have a printer <grin> (look, i'm too cheap to spend $10 ;)

<nod> was really the cd i wanted most when i bought a new computer. you
hafta go through a lot to get the downloadable version to work on a
different computer. but then, i already had the flash 3 manual too. is lots
better just to have the printed docs :)

ok, ok, i sent this whole email just to say i'm too cheap to own a printer
:) (and cuz it's friday and we're slow today :)

btw, I also wish they'd hide the flash 5 beta player in the developer's
section somewhere and not let the general public dl it. I have enough
trouble explaining to people it's not flash's fault the detection scheme is
poorly set-up on a site, and trying to make sure someone doesn't happen to
have the 4 player that doesn't work for music and get text stuff etc. etc.
without adding another broken player to the list. (ok, it's there already,
but now damage control. I'd rather no *more* clients/general public
downloaded it.)
