Just consider your HTML to be a text string that you can put in a variable.
You can load a text string froma file with load variables.

Check out:

under the load variables section. These are Flash 4 instructions, but they
should work in Flash 5 too.

I would've guessed that you could do something with that new XML
socket since you could probably put your HTML into some form of XML,
but that's probably over-complicating things.
