Because you mention "media company" and "affiliates", then they might wish
to examine how Sony Pictures, NBCi.com, Disney and other top media
companies handle this.

(Hint: Starts with an "F", ends with an "h", five letters.... ;-)

Hmm, but if their content happens to be a captured video stream, then
compressing to the three common video formats may be more suitable... for
