I think it's a question of fixing IE for Mac, not fixing the script.
I've seen in your other posts that you're using Flash 5 too, though, so
could you do this in F5 instead? It's a piece of cake to display the
current time with the date object in F5. (Example in flash 5 journal
below if you need a fla).
