Subject: RE: FLASH: Transparent background possible?

There is another step besides making a background transparent. In the
publish settings, you need to set up your movie to be transparent window
under the HTML settings. There is a VERY BIG cache, as far as I remember-
it will not work on Netscape. The transparency is a function of IE method
of display. That means that your friend will still see a solid color on
Netscape.

Am I correct that there still remains no workaround for this?

I remember someone discussing this before, but I can't remember the
answer. Rather than a color, can you have the Flash background stage be a
transparency? A friend wants the Flash to play in a cell on a page that
has a background tiled image. If you put the image in the movie stage, it
won't align with the tiling of the window frame..
