Subject: | FLASH: Tweening objects created in FreeHand? |

BLATANT NEWBIE QUESTION #1:
If, in Flash 3, I draw a "T" and an "H" and an "E", of different colors, on
different frames, I *can* get a morphing effect (via Tweening/Shape), with
*gradual* color changes from T through H to E.
However, if I create the T, H, and E by working in FreeHand 8, converting
text to paths, and adding desired color, then *pasting* into the particular
frames, I *can't* seem to get the same effect.
I've searched the manual to no avail.
Why are the images created in Flash behaving differently than the images
created in FreeHand?
I suspect it has something to do with the way I'm creating and/or saving
and/or exporting / not exporting the images in FreeHand, but other than
that, I've haven't a clue. Is there a particular format I have to save them
in? I've tried normal format, and eps. I've also tried exporting in eps.
None of these variations seem to work.
I *have* set my Export Preferences in FreeHand to CYMK and RGB as advised
in the Flash manual.
What am I missing?
Thanks in advance,
Ken Sherwood
