FLASH: Animated Text by individual characters

[MECCA17]

I need help with animated not just a word, where the word will scroll across 

the screen, but I need help with not only scrolling but having the phrase 

"new year's eve" blow off the screen letter by letter...


that means I have to break up the text graphic symbol into individual 

characters... okay great.


now that I have done that, what happens next? How am I going to use layers 

and the create motion tweening tool to make sure that each and every 

individual character in "new year's eve" gets blown off the screen?


Am I going to need a layer for each character? that theory seems ludicrous so 

someone please give me any info you may have as far as how to animate each 

individual character in a flash movie. Very urgent. has to be done in about 4 

hours.
