my freelance advice:


-- stand firm on an hourly rate


-- if you must bid the project as a whole....bid twice as high as what you

think is high....if not, you WILL end up with more hours involved.


--get everything on paper...email is no good...i get client company purchase

orders.


--get some coins up-front.


--stay flexible..."i don't design that way" is a dirty phrase.  find unique

ways to sneak in your "vision"


---make deadlines and stick to 'em......for your own damn sanity.


oh yea.......promote your name, URL, and online work to everyone who will

listen.......there are many future flash clients out there walking around

denying its worth...i plan to be there when they come around.
