Hi Amy.
You can make it keep looping by turning it into a movie clip symbol. If you
need it to stop looping based on a button click or something, add a frame to
the MC with a stop action and have the button "tell target" it when you want the
animation to stop. If you need more help, just ask.

I have a symbol that is a looped animation. I t will loop until it runs
out of time, but how do you get the symbol to continue looping w/out
extending the timeline(ie. can you you tell the frame the looped symbol
is in to keep looping until another option is chosen) if so how?
