Given that no relevent changes were made to the browser engine itself
(Navigator) through Communicator v 4.6.x, and only Communicator v4.7.x
has actually brought fixes to the engine, rather than mostly cosmetic
changes to Messenger and the rest of the bloat, Navigator 4.0.8 is still
a good engine to browse with.

Now, Ken, as to yanking MM's chain about getting Netscape to up the
plugin version, you yourself should know that's like pulling eye-teeth,
even when they are already recompiling the newest installer for
download. If you have to disagree here, just check the next-to-last
download of Communicator, and find in it Stuffit Expander 4.5, Real
Player 5, and QT 2.x, then ask yourself how long these have been out of
date.

Just because they could easily change things, doesn't mean they're smart
enough, or willing to do so.
