I think you should have a look at this piece on a typicial user machine --
say, a P133 or P166 with a graphics card with only 2-4 megs of video RAM.
You might be surprised to see that it plays at only one or two frames per
second, which loses the beauty of your tweens and makes the user wait a
very long time just to read a paragraph of text and then have to return to
the menu via the same sluggish transition.

When tweening objects with gradients, be careful not to have them consume
more than a small percentage of the screen area; it's just too sluggish
otherwise. Also, in my opinion, web pages that are there for information
(rather than amusement) should get right to the point.

Typo: media is plural. Use medium instead.

Hope that's not too harsh.
