There were great ideas in the other messages. I'd be curious about what
that "someone" finds important, though.

What do they want to achieve? What do they want to avoid? What can you
provide that can help them achieve their goals and reduce their risks?

If someone objected to a project I made, I'd likely try to find out why,
and see what I could do so it's mutually advantageous for us to go in the
same direction.

Mileage varies, but does this tack seem fruitful...?
