I would definitely go for the upgrade. There are several great improvements
just to the authoring tool alone which make it worthwhile. The library is
better organized, the timeline is easier to read and it's simpler to move
keyframes around. You can edit symbols in place, meaning you can edit them
in the context of the main timeline to see how they are placed. Some
drawing tools are better, too, including rectangles and ovals with fills,
as well as rounded rectangles. Then there are improvements in Flash movie
functionality, including Action Script and MP3-type audio compression (much
better sound, far smaller file sizes). If you are doing any paid Flash
production at all, it's worth the small investment. We don't know when
Flash5 is coming out; I wouldn't wait.
