Subject: RE: FLASH: ULTIMATE IE & Netscape Flash Detection Script?

we debated about this for a while. finally, the conclusion at
www.copfer.com, was to give 3 choices: flash, non-flash, text-only, and
employ a delay. if the user hasn't selected within several seconds, we bump
them to the Flash site automatically if they can be.

despite the fact it works pretty well, we are abandoning this approach for
the revision site, in production.
