You can't just feel free to assume that these statistics are
representative of "most users"!

Have you tried to find out what is the nature of the sample group
from which these stats have been accumulated? Their "sample pool"
would most certainly have to be biased, probably in many ways. Until
you see such information, and have statistical verification that the
sample is representative of the entire population (all users), you
have no reason to place value in the numbers.
