Marc reminds me of an old National Lampoon album "That's Not Funny It's
Sick" Bill Murray was defending the programming of their station during a
telethon to raise money. He said, "We play a lot of sh*t... but that's what
you want to hear." Bottom line is that the customer is always going to call
the shots. You can be forceful but have to walk the line before being
obstinant. Once they know you respect their views, you'll get more respect
for yours.

Recently there was a thread on companies needing team players. If the team
isn't playing the game you want find another team. Many of us are on our own
because then we can choose (most of the time) what we do.
