FLASH: LOAD VARIABLES PROBLEM

Why does flash stop when it encounters the LOAD VARIABLES statement in a

particular frame.  My problem is that it loads the variables fine, but after

loading 'em it as if I placed a STOP statement after the LOAD VARIABLES

command.  I can't place a PLAY statement afterwards (in an effort to force

it to continue) -- that causes a windows error.  I check to see if a

particular ending variable has been received, and if so, continue to the

next frame.  I receive that variable, but the script doesn't implement.
