Subject: FLASH: Random placement of buttons
From: Dan Sobczak

I've been able to randomly place a movie clip onto the stage, but when I try
to change that mc into a button, Flash seems unable to randomly place the
button.

Ultimately, what I need to do is to randomly place a clickable button onto
the stage, so I can set up an OnMouseEvent(Release) check and jump to a
specific frame once the randomly-placed button has been clicked...

What's the trick? As far as I can tell, there's no way to set up an
OnRelease event for a movie clip... This is for a F4 game, thus the need
for random button placements...

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!
