Subject: FLASH: Ownership of .fla Files
From: liam

Hi,

I'm sure this question has been asked before and it's a subjective topic
but......

When you complete a Flash website job - who "owns" the .fla (authoring
source) files? The design/web company or the client?

If the client asks for the files so they can edit/change text/images after
completion of the job- is it common practice to supply the files or to
withhold them?

I'm not really looking for a legal angle on this but more of a "general
company policy".

Please don't break any NDA's!

Thanks,
L
