No, I haven't changed my screen resolution for ages and I use a 

multi-monitor set-up. To double-check for off-screen palettes I set 

my resolution to 1920 x 1080 and still no Gen object palette. I even 

unplugged my second monitor, but still no luck.


Finally, I removed my "Flash 4 Preferences" file from my Preferences 

folder and rebooted. After registering Flash, the missing Generator 

Object palette was back. Just for fun, I replaced the new preference 

file with the old one, and guess what, the Generator Object palette 

was missing again. So, I guess it's the preference file that's the 

culprit. I still have the offending preference file if you would like 

to have a look at it.
