I just had a go at this.. I know its javascript 1.2 so won't work in all
browsers but maybe this would work for you, I tested it in IE5 and netscape
4.7 and it worked

(sorry again to any of you javascript gurus, but I'm a java/C++ guy, so its
new to me!)
