Subject: | RE: FLASH: Get Property of Nested MC's Question |

In frame 2 of MC "/Parent/Child" I set
variable "XGrandchild" =
GetProperty ("/Parent/Child/Granchild", _x)
-- not sure if you did this in the actual movie, but there's no "d" in
Grandchild
I want the property to appear in text field
named "XPosition" on the main timeline.
I use Call to refer to an actionscript
on the main timeline.
Call "../../../:Update"
-- it's a little easier to just use "/:" to reference the root
Set Variable "XPosition" =
Eval ( /Parent/Child:Grandchild )
-- need to say ( /Parent/Child:XGrandchild), right?
just helping with a quick glance, i didn't look that far into it.
good luck
