Subject: FLASH: RE: OT: Convincing people of Flash

Thanks to everyone who replied to my original post about convincing my marketing manager of the benefits of a Flash site. I like the ideas of downgrading, and slowly building up as he gets more comfortable. I tried showing him some of my favourite Flash sites, but as I said, he's still stuck in the nineties, so I could see he was totally lost with -gulp- moving images.

I took another look at our existing website yesterday (www.delcran.com - the address below is my own) and I still think it lends itself perfectly to full Flash.

We're also contemplating having a demo of our software on the website, and within 6 months, our clients will be using the web as an extension of our product. All of this says to me I should just keep plugging away at the backwards fool.

Or perhaps I'll just show it to his boss, who is still impressed that I can type without looking at the keyboard, and let the 2 of them sort it out...

Thanks to everyone again.
