Matt,

Not to bombard you with stuff, but here is the original post, in case
it's not clear what I meant by the "MM example"--it's the banner ad you
have at the macromedia site as an example on your info page about
printing from Flash. I couldn't get it to print from either Netscape
4.5 or IE 5.0 from WinNT with Flash 4.0.28. I downloaded the SDK files
and I *can* get it to print if I run the swf locally, but I published
and uploaded it to my website to test it, and it doesn't run there.

The "HP example" (which prints from IE but not Netscape) referred to is
from your gallery page.

Thanks again for any helpful info,
Helen

This is a fantastic example of the great things flash (and a good
designer) can do! It has inspired me to figure how to print selected
things from a flash movie (for my database project), so I went to
http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/player/flashprint/ to find out
more. But when I click on "print details" in the ad banner example, I
get a "loading tech sheet" message, but nothing ever loads. Ever. And
nothing prints. I have 4.0.28--is there something else I need to do? I
*was* able to print from your page above, Martin, so I know that
printing from flash is possible--I just wonder why I can't get the
Macromedia example to print (and whether it's worth studying their
downloadable source files for an example that's not working...) Guess
I'll plow through all the other documentation pages anyway...
