Wellllll....I found a couple of old dos programs that kind of work, not sure

where I found them but you can probably put their names in search engines to

find them... I have a Sony Mavica that takes little short Mpeg's so did the

following as an experiment:


Mpg = 200 kb

dmpeg.exe to Raw format = 3900 kb

vfd.exe to uncompressed AVI format = 3900 kb

Smacker (using the Indeo S.O.) to 85% compressed AVI = 975 kb

Or, just Smacker to consecutive GIF's and import


Final file was still huge though, but I would think somewhere along the line

I could minimize something....I just know nothing at all about video, but it

was a fun experiment.
