Subject: | FLASH: relative URLS in Mac IE 4.5: bug? |
From: | Marc Hoffman, Poison Dart Frog Media |

I just became aware that a relative URL in a Flash button goTo was not
functioning correctly in Mac IE 4.5. I used "../subdir/file.htm" to refer
to a file in a sibling directory on the server, but IE looked for the
entire path in the current directory and, of course, came up with a 404
Page Not Found error.
I'm not surprised to find bugs in Mac IE 4.5, but has this one been
documented? Is there another way to write a relative path that works, or am
I stuck using absolute paths?
thanks,
Marc
