Subject: FLASH: smooth scrolling - Flash 5 wish: loop while theMouseDown
From: Christian Cook

I am trying to do the simplest of scrolls. All the examples I have seen tend
to be rather complex workarounds (For a non programmer). I have a
dynamically generated array of messages on a bulletin board. I want the user
to be able to press and hold the up button and for it to smoothly scroll up
without the need for RSI infinite clicking. Most of the methods I have tried
so far throw up infinite loop errors.

I hope Flash 5 will include a 'loop while theMouseDown' type of option in
order to facilitate click and hold buttons.
