what you could do is work with layers.
have two sets of text: 1 regular, the other reversed. put "something" to
mask the first set of texts when they reach that point. at the same
time, have the reverse text move in the opposite direction so it'll look
like it has been flipped over.

there is probably a better way to do this, tho.
