When you insert the SWF in Dreamweaver, you must to change the width and
height atributes in the properties inspector. If you want to show the flash
movie in a whole window, you must to put a 100% in both atributes (in the
object and in the embed tags). Besides, you have to change the html code by
hand (Dreamweaver 2 doesn't do this) to insert into the Body tag next
atributes:

For IE: leftmargin="0" topmargin="0"
For N: marginheight="0" marginwidth="0"

Anyway, the browser will show the menu bars. as usually.

this really may sound like a stupid question but i don't know how to do
this ...

when i insert my .swf into my html pages (i use dreamweaver 2) i would like
the file to stretch to whole window ... but it doesn't! i tried all those
options in dreamweaver but no difference!

please tell me if there's a way to solve this problem. i saw this "effect"
happening on some pages and i once saw a tutorial on the net but i just
can't find it ... does anyone know the URL???
