I discovered this was the case (and the IE version was not even 4.5) ...
and revised everything so that it worked in IE only to discover that the
fix did not work in Netscape. So I put everything on the same level - and
it worked fine in both browsers ... messy, but allows relative URLs instead
of absolutes.
