When you go to publish the .swf, you can set the compression bit rate. The
higher the bit rate, the better the quality and the larger the file size. If
you have other sounds that you don't need to be as high quality, you can set
the bit rate for each individual sound by double clicking on the wav file in
the library. If you choose to do it this way, however, make sure that the
"Override sound settings" box in the publish settings is NOT checked.
Another thing I've noticed is that if you have any sound set to "stream"
which is nested in a movie clip, it cracks up and sounds pretty bad.
