will flash preserve imported gif's transparency settings??

ie: i import gif that is supposed to be clear in back, not white

will flash show white or clear?    can i make it clear in flash??

1.  If you try and import a gif with transparent back, Flash will fill it 

with white space. In Flash4 you just have to select this white space with 

the sub-tool Magic Wand under Lasso tool, and it will be cleared.

What you have then is the image sans the background.


2.  If you have defined a color as transparent color, Flash will import that 

color area as white space. However, Flash differentiates this white space 

with the transparent background. To clear this you will have to select it 

with the Magic Wand, and hit Delete.
