FLASH: Dynamic Labels in Flash

I am currently developing an interface using Flash 4, in which I have text

elements (such as menu contents), which will need to be updated on the fly

by reading in the given text from an external text file. How do I set text

elements in Flash (not form fields) to become variables?


Any suggestions would be appreciated.
