Hola Alejandro.

Shockwave and Flash are definitly not the same.
To read an extensive explanation on why, go here:
http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/99/27/index3a.html
But to put it in a few words, Shockwave contents are created using Director,
an authoring tool used for a long time to create interactive CDRoms and
multimedia presentations. Flash contents are created using Flash, wich
completly beats Director on the web performance deparment, because of the
ridiculous size of the flash files. (at least that is the purpose, to make
small files. Not always achieved, i know). Also the prices are not the
same at all.... Flash is 299 dlls, while Director is 999dlls..... mucha
plata....

Saludos,

Eva
