hi Richard,

When you place the sound in the timeline, look on the right hand side of
the frame properties dialouge box in the sound section. You should see a
text feild with the words "loops" next to it. If you want your sound to
loop throughout the movie, you should probably put 100 or something like
that into it, so that it keeps looping for a long time.
