thanks for the reply, without getting too involved, i thought of doing that

and in all honesty i couldn't imagine it needing to be more than 99 or 100

or so.  i thought it would be pretty simple at best and i'm now thinking

about creating a seperate movie from which i use the unload and load command

through the use of an audio button from my parent movie to call the

background music file.

there's got to be a script that loops it infinetely yet i haven't been able

to find one..

hi Richard,


When you place the sound in the timeline, look on the right hand side of

the frame properties dialouge box in the sound section. You should see a

text feild with the words "loops" next to it. If you want your sound to

loop throughout the movie, you should probably put 100 or something like

that into it, so that it keeps looping for a long time.
