Subject: FLASH: Flash forms and CGI
From: Bob Gigliotti

Hello all!
I am looking for some insight on the proper way to use forms and an cgi
script.

The cgi script is not the problem...I am having troubles in Flash setting it
up with the submit button in the actions tab.

This is what I am doing...

ON the submit button I am using the following actions:

On (release)
if(name ne "")
Load Variables ("my cgi server location", 0, vars=POST)
End if
Go to and play (4,1)
End On

in the if statement is the name of the form field that the user will put in
his name and the information in that field called 'name' will be sent to the
cgi script.

It is my believe that I am doing something wrong with the if statement. I
just can't see it.

Thanks and I hope to see some insight soon. I also plane on being available
to help all the same.
