Subject: | FLASH: Displaying images from remote server |

Hi all,
We're developing a merchandise ordering system using Flash and server-side
scripts which link to an external database. Flash is going to query a CGI
script, which will return a string containing items which are in-stock.
Flash will parse the string and display a catalog of items based upon
what's in-stock. Getting text from the external file should be easy (I
think; I haven't tried it yet). What I want to know is, can Flash fetch an
IMAGE off a server and display it (eg if the CGI script sends a URL
containing the image)? I'd love for this catalog to contain images. Any
ideas on how to do this?
Thanks appreciated.
