There's a nice animated GIF of a transparent globe (where the land is
opaque, and the oceans are see-through), at

http://hum.amu.edu.pl/~zbzw/glob/glob461c.htm

You could simply import the GIF into a movie clip, and use that... even
vectorize it if you want.

Hi all,
does anybody know of a source/tutorial (3d??) of a transparent spinning
globe?? Transparent means, the ocean-areas are transparent and you can see
the back-side of the continents through the globe.

Thanks
Kalle
