tweening problem...

i put a symbol in frame 1 and the same symbol is in frame 10.   frames 1 and

10 are the only key frames.   the symbol in frame 10 has its "brightness"

changed.   when i put the frame marker on frame 1 and try to tween up to

frame 10.   flash puts the red arrow there but frames 2-9 are blank.   any

ideas on what i'm doing wrong?
