Okay, this is going to keep me from being in the shower right now, but
you've got a few finer points to learn here.

You asked for a site review. You got a site review. Good and bad, we get
them/give them all the time. If you cannot handle the negatives with the
positives, don't go asking for them and insulting those of us who bother to
spend the time checking out your work.

If you want to knock my spelling, then, erm, it's SOMETHING not somming, and
I think that there may be a few to argue my knowledge of Flash3.

The 600k bandwidth issue: In HTML, a NON-STREAMING media, the high-end that
I work with is 35k per page. If you're going to talk to someone as if they
know nothing, then you really should do more homework. Other than that fact
that there are some die-hard Flashers here, you need to understand that
there are some die-hard designers here, as well. What we'll tell you is
that 600k smix-hundred-k; it's too long to wait for an average end user that
is still at approximately 28k and who's interest span is roughly 10 seconds
per page.

You do the math.

>Secondly you should also bear in mind that FLASH4 is out one of these days
>and that Alcazar ver4 is on the way that will EVEN be smaller and load even
>faster doing EXACTLY the same and more...

I don't think that *I* need to bear that in mind in the least; we've all
known it was/is coming. Flash 5 is coming one of these days, too, but
that's not going to make me wait to see how much quicker your site loads.
This is rapidly going from me offering you professional criticism to you
creating a pissing contest.

>You comment sux buddio and ... that is NOT positive critisizm if I ever saw
>it thanx for the kind wording moron.

Then *do NOT* ask for criticism on this list. Period. As a site, it sucks.
As a presentation on a CD, it's quite nice. I'm not changing my stance here
because you cannot present yourself in a professional manner.

>BTW - where is you lil site so I can have a lil laugh too ...

I'll happily email you samples of work of done, as well as a copy of the
article I've consulted on for Flash, off-line, if you'd like that. There's
no need to repost these sites and the work I've done when the people here
have already seen it.

>And I repeat myself again ... the GABO wheel was a challenge to me and grew
>into that ... I am NOT going to re-build the whole thing just to please ppl
>like YOU.

Congratulations; it's not about the fact that you "grew into that". That's
great; a lot of learning comes from repurposing other work. Repurposing.
No one asked you to rebuild your site. Perhaps rebuild your negative
attitude; we're all here to help and when a new user hops on and throws this
type of a response onto the list, it does nothing but push the collective
"us" further away from helping others, and that's not the way it should
work, at all.

>Here is a lil challenge RUSS - "TRY to Copy that site ROFL!"

I *try* not to copy anyone else's work...at least not with permission for
the repurpose, first.

Best of luck to you in your professional endeavors.

Russ
