Subject: FLASH: Try this again...IE and %ENV

OK...

I posted this before, but no one took the bait. I've seen some
discussion closer to this and am hoping someone will take it up...
We do some flash <--> cgi (which hooks into a db api for an on-line
course managment system). There is a generic script which runs
security checks and provides some common functions. I've noticed that
Flash in IE 5 does not send the HTTP_REFERER variable. Anyone have
any idea why, how to get it or any other related info? This provides
for either user frustration (if we keep it tight) or admin frustration
(if we have to bypass the security). Imagine that...a Microsoft
product that promotes security issues! ;-)

Thanks,

Jason
