Subject: FLASH: Illustrator with a querstion

I am new to this mailing list so forgive any ignorance.

I am an illustrator/animator with a ton of experience and traditional training. Due to unrelated circumstances I have been out of payed employment for 3 years. I Have been looking at Flash as a way to get into two industries I love (animation and web development) but I am a little concerned about the anount of time required to get to the level of experience of the people here to start on game production.

I was wondering if there is any need for Illustrators and animators in this feild. It would save a lot of retraining in a feild where I have only average tallent. It would be a lot more productive all round if it was possible to find companies producing flash productions that need top quality visuals.

Its dificult for me to just put up a url for people to look at, but I would be happy to send urls etc to prove that I have plenty of tallent... well I have worked for compnies subcontracting to Disney and Warner Bros for TV based animation.

Thanks for any advice anyone can give.
